Larry Campell to Speak at Quest's Under the Same Sky Fundraiser Event

VANCOUVER - COPE mayoral candidate, Larry Campbell will speak at the Helen Pitt Gallery on behalf of the Quest Outreach Society at their first fundraiser event, Under the Same Sky, on Thursday, November 14th.

Quest has opened a warehouse to reclaim and distribute unused food for people in need. Currently, more than 15,000 people every month are aided by Quest through hot sit down meals for Vancouver's hungry, food distribution to more than 70 social service agencies, and emergency food hampers for families in need. Under the Same Sky's goal is to raise money for a much-needed forklift.

Regardless of social and lifestyle differences, Lower Mainland residents share one thing in common; they deserve to be treated with equal respect, under the same sky. Quest encourages the public to attend, understand and celebrate esteem building, food sustenance and social empathy within the community.

The reception will include special hors d'oeuvres, musical entertainment and a silent auction. The tasting is set for 5:30pm to 9:30 pm. All proceeds from the event and auction will go directly to benefit Quest. News 1130 reporter, Joanna Mileos, will be the host for the evening
