Local E-Business Makes Charitable Giving Easy: Area Residents Don't Have to Leave Their Home to Help

VANCOUVER - Donating to the hungry can be done from a click of a mouse thanks to Small Potatoes Urban Delivery (SPUD), Greater Vancouver's leading online organic home grocer. Vancouverites or any local armchair activist can simply log on to www.spud.ca, click a button and feed people in need through the Quest Outreach Society, at no cost to them.

Dale Albertson, Director at Quest, is thrilled about the partnership and is encouraging Vancouverites to log on and support the program. "This program is unique because it is so easy and convenient. Many people are busy during the holidays, or they have a tight budget, so giving can be difficult. But now people can help those in need at no cost to them by simply clicking their mouse and SPUD will donate $2.20 on their behalf. Everyone can give."

Albertson continues, SPUD is also offering another opportunity for residents to help the hungry. "You can help feed even more people this Holiday Season by signing up for grocery deliveries with SPUD. Just enter promo code FB5 and SPUD will donate a $25 food basket to the Quest Outreach Society so we can feed an entire family. As a thank-you, SPUD is offering $25 in savings over your first four deliveries," says Albertson.

The goal of the partnership is to feed 2000 people this Holiday Season.
